去中心订单撮合:
交易方首先通过 Shamir 保密共享方案,把订单分拆成碎片——这些碎片包含了订单的部分敏感数据,不会暴露订单的价值。只有收集到半数以上的订单碎片,方可重组订单。
节点发挥撮合功能,对不同订单的碎片进行安全多方计算,将结果与其他节点的结果(不同的碎片计算)混合。运算产生的碎片不会泄露原始订单,仅代表订单配对的结果。
由于订单碎片的专门设计,订单撮合运算可以使用任何功能,应用在多项式,以及撮合两笔或以上的订单。因此,订单撮合运算享有较高灵活性。节点可以根据确切的价格撮合订单,或是部分撮合,或是多重交易对撮合(例如,无法找到直接的 REN/BTC 交易对,可以通过 BTC/ETH、ETH/REN 和 REN/BTC 间接达成),有助提升流通能力。
交易执行:
节点相互竞争,找寻匹配的订单。已撮合的订单必须登记在案,让其他节点得知订单状态;相关交易方亦会得到通知。任何配对成组的订单将不再参与撮合。过程在以太坊网络进行。只有未配对的订单可参与撮合;交易方可设立24小时有效时间或是自行取消未配对的订单。订单过期或取消后,相关预付费用会得到返还。

订单拆分成若干碎片在网络中散播,保障订单信息安全。为了防止女巫攻击并简化身份认证机制,交易方和节点必须用 REN 代币购买债券,从而获得网络准入资格。与债券挂扣的唯一身份登记在协议的智能合约中,任何人都可以查询注册状态。交易方或节点退出网络时,债券会全额返还。若网络探测到恶意行为,会扣押相应的债券,通过奖励机制维护网络安全。
交易方可随意提交债券金额;债券金额和单次下达订单的数目成正比。债券阈值的设定灵活且高昂,参与者需要支付足够丰厚的财务承诺。交易方和节点提交的债券金额必须达到阈值以上,才可获准参与网络活动。

The project believes that access bonds paid in REN tokens can effectively incentivize trading parties to execute orders.
Order handling fee:
When submitting an order, the transaction party must pay the handling fee in REN tokens. If the order is overdue and not matched, the handling fee will be returned to the trading party. Nodes participating in decentralized computing can receive handling fee dividends (evenly distributed to all participating nodes) by matching orders. The handling fees vary in value; the one with the highest price will be given priority by the node. After the transaction is completed, the node will receive the handling fees from the buyer and seller. The only order information that a node can obtain is the transaction fee received from a successful pairing.
The RenEx beta mainnet currently adopts a single tariff model, charging both buyers and sellers a unified fee of 0.2% for each transaction. Therefore, each transaction incurs a 0.4% fee. 80% is shared by the nodes; the remaining 20% is kept by RenEx and used for the circulation reward program (rebates to market makers and liquidity sources, thereby stimulating the growth of the platform’s circulation capacity). RenEx tariffs are temporarily set by the Republic Protocol team to maintain RenEx’s competitiveness.
Bonds:
The order is split into several fragments and spread across the network to ensure the security of order information. To prevent Sybil attacks and simplify the authentication mechanism, transacting parties and nodes must purchase bonds with REN tokens to gain access to the network. The unique identity linked to the bond is registered in the smart contract of the protocol, and anyone can query the registration status. When a transacting party or node exits the network, the bonds are returned in full. If the network detects malicious behavior, the corresponding bonds will be seized and network security will be maintained through a reward mechanism.
Traders can submit the bond amount at will; the bond amount is proportional to the number of single orders placed. Bond thresholds are set to be flexible and expensive, requiring participants to make sufficiently generous financial commitments. The bond amount submitted by transaction parties and nodes must reach above the threshold before they can be allowed to participate in network activities.
The bond threshold setting mechanism is still in the development stage. The project plans to set the threshold for dark nodes to 100,000 REN, which means the maximum number of dark nodes is 10,000 because the total token supply is 1,000,000,000 REN. The bond amount can be changed by the contract owner (also changing the maximum number of nodes). Republic Protocol mentioned that the bond’s threshold will eventually be controlled by the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), which will be determined through voting and used for the management of REN tokens.
3.Comment
The main technical goal of Republic Protocol is to enable a decentralized network of nodes to match orders. Although it may seem impossible, it can be achieved by applying cryptographic techniques that have been thoroughly researched for 30 years, modifying them to suit the world of decentralized computing.
Republic Protocol uses a Shamir secret sharing scheme to break down orders into a large number of order fragments and distribute them throughout the network. The order cannot be reconstructed unless most of the order pieces are reassembled. To prevent this from happening, Republic Protocol defines an Ethereum smart contract called a registrar, which organizes nodes into a network topology that makes it unreasonable for an adversary to get enough fragments of the order to rebuild the order. As long as traders respect the network topology defined by their registrar, their orders will be safe.
Using order shards from two different orders, a node can cooperate with other nodes to maintain cooperation with other nodes. In order to execute the same two commands perform decentralized calculations, which will determine whether the two orders match. Dispersed computation does not expose order fragments and performs a random scaling of the final output. This prevents nodes from reconstructing the original order preventing them from using the output to infer anything about the order. Zero-knowledge proofs are used to verify the integrity of calculations without revealing any information. These proofs are simple and efficient, allowing them to be executed via an Ethereum smart contract called a judge. After two orders are matched, an atomic swap is initiated between the two traders on the Republic Protocol Network, a decentralized peer-to-peer network that uses standard asymmetric encryption The details of the atomic swap remain secure.
